Sam Polcer is the editor-in-chief of MyMidwest, the award-winning inflight magazine for Midwest Airlines. He is also a contributing writer, editor and photographer for other titles published by INK.

With a background in documentary filmmaking, Sam knows the importance of solid research and that all the good source material in the world doesn't mean a thing if it isn't presented with style. Humor, introspection, drama and suspense all find their way into his writing and photography. While much of his portfolio consists of travel and adventure coverage, he is also an experienced interviewer and culture reporter/critic.

Because of his own editing experience, Sam is the kind of writer and photographer that other editors enjoy working with, whether it's on a clever front-of-book item, a punchy headline or a thoughtful, immersive feature story. He knows that the best magazine work is collaborative but is also aware that ultimately it is the writer's passion and skill that make or break an article.

Sam lives and works in Brooklyn, NY, and is up for an adventure. Maybe you know of something? He'd really like to hear from you.
